History

The New Model School Company was founded in 2003 by a group of social policy experts, educationalists and concerned lay people, to explore new ways of providing an excellent education.

In 2004 the New Model School opened our first school, Maple Walk, in a sports hall with two children.  News quickly spread and by the second year of operation we almost had a full class.

In 2009 we opened Faraday School following the same model.

The schools have grown steadily over the years, building a year group at a time, and both have long registration lists for entry into Reception.

2015 saw the fourth set of Year 6 leavers graduate from Maple Walk with offers received at a range of selective and non selective independent and state secondary schools.

The New Model School currently educates 290 children.
