Full-time Head Teacher

Following the appointment of Sarah Knollys, after eight years of exceptional service at Maple Walk, to be Headmistress of Glendower Preparatory School, the New Model School Company is seeking a new Head to start in either September 2012 or in January 2013 subject to the successful candidate's contract.

The Directors are looking for an inspirational and aspirational leader, who can continue the outstanding progress of the school and deliver our vision and ethos, to create a truly effective and liberating learning experience.

Candidates should:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a love of teaching
  • Be innovative and entrepreneurial
  • Have experience and understanding of 11+ and the London schools' network
  • Have a proven track record of senior management team experience

Part-time Primary French Teacher (1+ days/week)

Experienced, fluent, French-speaking teacher sought to teach French to children from 4-11 in our small independent school based in Harlesden, Brent. Candidates must have had prior teaching experience in a classroom environment . Year 3 Class Teacher

Full-time, to commence September 2012

Stephenson School is situated in Kensal Town, in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The school opened in 2009 with a Reception class and has grown by one class a year. New Model Schools are not-for-profit schools and all have the following characteristics: small class sizes; committed, high-calibre staff; a concentration on strong basic skills; an emphasis on knowledge; high expectations of behaviour, manners and respect and a fully involved parent body. The curriculum is broad and stimulating. The ethos is broadly grounded in Christian values, but we welcome and embrace children from all faith backgrounds or none.

The children and staff of Stephenson School are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and committed teacher with the ability to teach in Key Stage 2 to join our small, friendly and dedicated team. An understanding of 7+ and 11+ examinations would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
