Parents face a difficult choice as their children approach school age. They are often unable to get their children into the state school of their choice, and most private schools are extremely expensive.

The New Model School has been created to address this problem. It aims to provide rigorous and effective teaching at a low cost in order to bring independent schooling within the means of more parents.

The aim of New Model Schools is not narrowly academic. The purpose is to ensure the development of the whole child – creative, ethical and social, as well as intellectual. New Model Schools are inspired by a vision of social inclusion, and aim to educate young people as citizens of the free and democratic society they are growing up in. This requires a sound knowledge of history, and of religions and cultures, as the basis of sympathetic and well-informed understanding.

Our aim is not just to set up a single successful school, but to provide a replicable model of excellent and affordable schools which will improve the lives of many children and their families.

Prospective parents can find out more about the school and meet Sarah Knollys, the Head, and Rick Williams, CEO of the New Model School Company at any of the open meetings listed above. Meetings take place in the parish hall of Our Lady of the Holy Souls church, entrance in Bosworth Road.

Whilst we would love to see the children, we hope you will appreciate that a number of children at such a meeting can make the session much less productive. Therefore, if at all possible, please do try to avoid bringing them with you.
